WE'RE BACK! ... With a {GIVEAWAY}!

And just in time for my favorite season. :-)

It's been quite a while since I last blogged, so for those of you who are still with me -- thank you!! Maybe you're just here for the fun giveaway, or maybe you're here because you enjoy following our chaotic little life here in Colorado, or maybe you're my mom and happy I'm blogging again...but in any case, I appreciate all the followers, and I promise routine blogging, fun giveaways and hilarious stories are already scheduled.

Speaking of hilarious stories, Jordan thought it'd be super fun to take our two dogs and toddler camping over Labor Day weekend...let's just say there may or may not have been a bottle of Fireball involved, and I'll leave it with I have an appointment with a massage table and a eucalyptus steam room later today.

To help ease myself back into blogging, and to help everyone come back from a three-day weekend, I partnered up with one of my all-time favorite small shops Gracious May for an amazing giveaway. I discovered Gracious May when Sydney was about seven months old, and I legitimately have never looked back.

Seven months old -- look how bald she was! Heart eyes forever.

19 months old...where is time going?!

These tiny moccasin boots are THE best. Not only are they the cutest little boots ever, but they're comfortable for baby feet and easy for little ones to toddle around in. The boots are made with a chestnut faux suede and matching fringe trim, and they are handcrafted with a genuine suede soft sole. One of the reasons we love them so much (yes, we -- my husband loves them, too, and they're easily Sydney's favorite shoes) is because of their convenience factor. The boots are designed with a snug little elastic ankle strap inside so the boots stay put on your baby's feet, and they have a zipper in the back of the boot, making husbands everywhere sigh of relief that the shoes to their child's 8-piece outfit their wives laid out for them are easy to slip on and off. (I mean, what?)

One of the benefits of shopping small is the individual business owners who are almost always so incredibly sweet, kind, generous and understanding. We've always been huge fans of Gracious May, but right before we left for Cabo earlier this year, I realized we needed to size up -- and we were leaving in about a week. I messaged Grace (the owner of Gracious May) and explained my dilemma, and she said absolutely no problem -- and sent out a pair of boots later that day for two-day expedited shipping. How amazing is that customer service? I was floored and so grateful. Pretty sure I called Old Navy the other day because they accidentally forgot a pair of leggings I had ordered and instead sent a pair of white shorts size 3T (which is like an oxymoron -- white shorts for a three-year-old?), and they still can't figure out what happened and were so incredibly rude to me like I'm the one who stole these stupid white shorts. I even tried returning them, and I'm fairly certain I blew the guy's mind when I tried explaining what happened. "Sooo...you ordered white shorts and you got the wrong size?" Oh sweet lord, NO.

Anyway, I've partnered up with Grace and her amazing team, and we are giving away a $50 shop credit to Gracious May (and possibly a pair of white shorts if I can't get rid of these things)! Head on over to my instagram, @sa_anderson, to enter -- AND for a bonus entry:

Good luck -- and stay tuned for more fun stuff!

  7. I am blessed with a two and half year old handsome boy and a month and a half year old sweet girl. I enjoy dressing my son in lots of cute outfits and now I get to dress my daughter in just outfits too. I'm so excited!! Our winters up here in Indiana tend to be rough and I would love to get my daughter a pair of boots to keep her tootsies warm, I am hoping to get a size that she'll be able to wear when she's walking too! It's a hard choice between the chestnut and cobblestone their both so cute!
